Larry Sussman is Senior Counsel at Sheppard, Rosen, Uziel and Sussman, specializing in real estate, construction, contract, tort claims, and general landlord-tenant law. Mr. Sussman has tried bench trials and jury trials, handled civil appeals and he has resolved numerous cases through arbitration and mediation.
Larry Sussman is a 1983 graduate of the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where he was on the Moot Court Board and served as a Moot Court instructor.
Larry Sussman has been actively practicing law in the Bay Area since 1983.
Mr. Sussman received his B.A. degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and he has a M.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
Larry Sussman is an experienced litigator and has handled hundreds of real estate and construction contract and tort claims all over the Bay Area, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. Mr. Sussman is highly respected by his clients, the courts, and his adversaries for his knowledge, experience, negotiating skills, and congenial style of dispute resolution.
Mr. Sussman represents clients in a broad range of real estate related matters, including both litigation and transactions, including real property purchases/sales, leases, partition of co-ownership interests, easement, boundary line and title disputes, landslides, real estate fraud and non-disclosure of material facts in transactions, construction defects (representing homeowners, homeowner associations, and contractors) and a variety of breach of contract disputes.
Larry is also a licensed real estate broker, a member of the San Francisco Association of Realtors, the Real Property sections of the State Bar of California and the Bar Association of San Francisco. He is qualified to represent Sellers or Buyers in "For Sale by Owner" real estate transactions.
