Marc Hoag first joined our law firm in 2006 while in law school, honing his skills on landlord/tenant law and real estate law cases, working on property line encroachment disputes, constructive eviction lawsuits, habitability claims for rodent invasion, and various injury claims including those for emotional distress.
Since becoming an attorney in 2008, Marc Hoag specialized in California “Lemon Law” claims; he successfully won cases requiring manufacturers of cars to buy back defective vehicles under the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, Civil Code Section 1793.2 et seq.
A serial entrepreneur, Marc founded multiple startups and co-founded a smart mobility consultancy. His podcast, "Autonomous Cars with Marc Hoag", spanned 199 episodes and achieved the first organic result on Google.
Marc has lectured at numerous continuing legal education forums including at various Bar Associations, seminars on AI law at Columbia University’s Executive Master of Laws (LLM) Program, the annual CES trade show (2019) organized by the Consumer Technology Association, and at multiple US and European forums.
